At Sparta Veterinary Services you will find a unique blend of hometown friendliness, compassion, professionalism, and reliability. Our veterinarian, Dr. Denton Colwell and his team of animal care givers are dedicated to providing complete healthcare solutions using the latest advances in veterinary research and technology. In addition to medical expertise, you’ll find that we deliver sincere, personalized service every time you visit, along with a healthy dose of good nutrition and exercise tips that will help keep your pets feeling frisky all year round.
We are committed to treating your pet with kindness and concern as we administer the best care that veterinary medicine has to offer. Our goal is to make sure that your pets live long, enriched lives, and we want to partner with you to help make that happen. We treat every patient with loving care throughout every check-up, procedure, surgery, and recovery.
One notable aspect of our practice is that Dr. Colwell devotes one day of the week to farm animal visits. Whether he comes to you or you haul in to us, we are happy to provide you with excellent veterinary service. Additionally, our team makes every effort to accommodate appointment requests for sick and well visits. In fact, we try our best to see our sick patients on the same day that you call.
At Sparta Veterinary Services, we offer emergency services during and after normal business hours. If you have an emergency with your pet, please call us or come to the clinic immediately. If possible, it is best to call before coming in so that a staff member can advise you on your particular emergency. We are also available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening. If you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment, we will do our best to fit you into the schedule.
If you live in White County or the surrounding counties of Putnam, Van Buren, Warren, or DeKalb, please stop by or call today and meet our family of pet loving practitioners and professionals. We look forward to partnering with you for the lifetime of your pet.
