James Everett, DVM
Dr. James Everett was born in Maryville, Tennessee on a small beef cattle farm. After graduating
from Everett Highschool in 1960, he attended University of Tennessee Knoxville for his
pre-veterinary education, then attended Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. He
graduated with his doctorate in 1967. Dr. Everett has worked with both large and small animal
practices for many years, and is showing no intention of slowing down any time soon. Dr. Everett
now lives on his family's horse farm with his wife, two granddaughters, and two
grandsons-in-law. He greatly enjoys horseback riding and working the farm as needed. He is
very happy to be here at Sparta Veterinary Services taking care of the needs of both you and
your pets.
