Patrick Hackett, DVM
Dr. Hackett was raised in Oak Ridge and graduated from Oak Ridge High School. He received his veterinary degree from the University of Tennessee and was in the first graduating class. He was honored to be the Veterinarian of the Year in 1992 by the Tennessee Veterinary Medical Association.
For several years he was President and a board member of the Humane Society of the Tennessee Valley. He continues to work with HSTV and several other rescue organizations performing orthopedic surgeries. These surgeries provide comfort for the animals and enhance their chances of adoption.
After selling his west Knoxville veterinary practice in 2020, he joined the SVS team and continues to help animals in Middle and East Tennessee.
